This exquisite S-series instrument from Lowden has a soundboard made of Master Grade Alpine Spruce. The sides and back are beautifully figured Master Grade Ziricote. The combination produces a deep, powerful bottom end as well as sparkling highs. Overall, the tone of this masterpiece is complex and piano-like. It doesn't get much better than this!
The neck is a traditional five-piece Mahogany/Rosewood combo. Ebony binding, front and back, is mated with gorgeous Mahogany/Maple/Rocklite purfling. The fingerboard is Ebony with Maple binding.
