7-Day Approval Period

We understand that choosing a guitar online is different from playing one in person. That's why every eligible guitar purchased from The Fretted Buffalo includes a 7-day approval period beginning on the date of delivery.

If the instrument isn't the right fit, simply contact us within the 7-day approval period to arrange a return.

Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return:

• The customer must notify us within 7 days of delivery.

• The instrument must be returned in the same condition in which it was received.

• All original packaging, accessories, documentation, and case contents must be included.

Return Shipping

For qualifying returns, The Fretted Buffalo will provide a prepaid return shipping label.

Refunds

Approved returns are subject to a 5% restocking fee.

This fee helps offset costs associated with shipping, return shipping, payment processing, and preparing the instrument for resale. Our goal is not to profit from returns, but to continue offering free shipping and a generous approval period on every eligible guitar we sell.

Returned instruments will be inspected upon receipt. Approved refunds will be processed within 3 business days of our receipt of the returned instrument and completion of our inspection.

Please note that after we process a refund, additional time may be required for your bank or credit card company to post the refund to your account.

Exclusions

The following are not eligible for return unless otherwise stated:

• Special-order instruments

• Custom-order instruments

• Layaway deposits

• Items marked as Final Sale
