Here is another stunning creation from Hozen. It is a Blue Label OM with a top made from Swiss Moon Spruce (Alpine Spruce harvested at a specific time of winter when sap flow is lowest) and Tibetan Spalted Maple back and sides. The Maple exhibits a good amount of flame as you can see in the photos. The body is bound in Ebony, with Abalone purfling. Features include a soundport, back and arm bevels, and a Florentine cutaway.
Aside from the beautiful dyed wood inlays on the rosette and headstock, there are construction elements favored by Hozen on their premium instruments that keep the sides from absorbing energy, thereby allowing the top and back to vibrate more freely. This is done with a solid lining and double sides (as opposed to traditional notched kerfing) as well as with Adirondack Hybrid Lattice bracing. The sound of this guitar is articulate and focused, with crisp highs and well-defined lows. Includes Hozen Polycarbonate hard case. Other specifications include:
