With the help of Jim Hurst, Gallagher designed a model to fit the needs of a versatile guitar player like Jim! The Jim Hurst Signature is a slope shoulder body with mahogany back and sides and an Adirondack spruce top. The body, fretboard, and headstock are bound with tortoiseshell and the body has a built in armrest. The neck has a 1 3/4″ nut spacing and big C-shaped profile. The ebony fretboard is inlayed with 3mm abalone dots and the ebony headstock is inlayed with an abalone G. The Jim Hurst Signature is fitted with nickel Schaller tuners.
