Here is a custom-ordered Furch Rainbow series OM featuring an Alpine Spruce top and Koa back and sides. For those who haven't experienced Koa as a tonewood, it falls between Mahogany and Rosewood in hardness. It has nice warmth but also good note separation; it won't get muddy on you. Nice, focused midrange as well. The Alpine top is very responsive, especially to a light touch.
This OM has rich South American Bloodwood binding front and back, as well as on the neck and headstock. Ebony bridge and fingerboard, with custom abalone flower inlay 12th to 14th fret. Tusq nut and saddle for consistency and reliability.
