The Boucher BG-252-GM features a Master Grade torrefied Adirondack Red Spruce top and Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. The body is bound with Koa and has a high gloss finish. The one-piece South American Mahogany neck has a satin finish over a larger soft "V" profile. The bridge and fingerboard are solid Ebony, and the nut and full-length saddle are bone. Herringbone purfling and a zigzag backstrip put the final visual touches on this very special dreadnought!
For those who need to be heard in any picking session, the recently redesigned Bluegrass Goose offers widened X bracing which allows the player to dig in hard without worry of losing clarity or control of the low end. It's a Bluegrass player's dream! Boucher is renowned for the quality of their Adirondack tops. The Brazilian Rosewood just adds to the volume and presence of this beautiful guitar. Other specs include:
25.5" Scale Length
1 3/4" Nut Width
2.2" String Spacing at Bridge
4.125" Soundhole diameter
5.0" Body Depth
