Here is another wonderful 000-37 from Atkin! It features a baked Sitka spruce top with a bit of bearclaw figure in it and Indian rosewood back and sides. The finish is hand-distressed to give it a broken-in look and feel. The design is based on a pre-war Martin, with Atkins' tweaks and secret sauce to make it sound incredible. Herringbone purfling and a tortoise guard set the golden hued top off nicely. It is a bright and lively sounding guitar with a strong midrange and singing trebles.
A comfortable neck profile and smaller body make this a comfortable guitar to hang on the porch with or write your next tune.
