Here is an all original 1966-67 Gibson Country Western Dreadnaught. These classic American guitars have an iconic place in Folk and Rock 'n Roll history and that unmistakable Gibson sound!
This one was played regularly and cared for. There is checking throughout, and some dings and play wear all around. Original Brazilian bridge and fingerboard with split parallelogram inlays. The adjustable ceramic saddle is intact and functional. The gears turn smoothly. No bridge lift or neck separation. There is some shrinkage of the binding, but none is loose.
It has been residing in a climate-controlled environment and there are no cracks or repairs anywhere on the instrument. Plenty of fret left with some signs of wear in positions one and two. We measure the nut width at 1-9/16". Truss rod fully functional. The pickguard lies flat. Original chipboard case included.
