Furch makes one of the finest 7 string acoustic guitars available on the market today, and here is STILL ANOTHER fine example! It features all solid woods - a high quality AA Western Red Cedar soundboard and a AA African Mahogany back and side set. Combined with Furchs well researched use of technology and attention to the detail of every aspect of all of the guitars they build, the Blue Series are an outstanding value!
This guitar features Furchs new CNR Active neck design. In addition to Furch's innovative truss rod design, the 'Active' feature allows for easy adjustment of the pitch and angle of the neck, making the need for a neck reset obsolete! Just wow!
Basic specs: 1-7/8" nut width; 2-23/64" string spacing at the bridge; long scale at 25.59". The nut and bridge are designed by Furch to optimize vibration transfer for the 7th string.
The guitar is strung with phosphor bronze coated D'Addario XS .012 - .053's: the added 7th string is a .059" gauge D'Addario XS B string. The soundboard, as well as the back and sides are done with Furchs natural sounding Open Pore Finish. The neck is also done with the Open Pore finish for an easy, smooth playing experience - and an antibacterial additive has been added to this neck finish.
This guitar comes with a high quality Furch branded gig bag. We will add a demonstration video soon - stay tuned, or call us for an in hand description and high quality sound sample.
